On August 18, 2021, Beijing Shounong Consumption-based Poverty Alleviation, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center sent Capinfo a silk banner to express their heartfelt gratitude to Capinfo’s long-term support for poverty alleviation via consumption. Zong Zhaoxing (Deputy Secretary of Capinfo’s Party Committee and Chairman of the Trade Union) and Du Xiaoling (Chief Financial Officer of Capinfo) received the visitors cordially and communicated with them kindly. The heads of the Party Committee’s Office, Organization Department and General Management Department took part in the informal discussions and communications.
At the meeting, both companies introduced their own basic situation, their jobs for poverty alleviation and corresponding achievements made in the past years. Mr. Zong Zhaoxing reported, the complete victory in poverty alleviation was not an end point, but a start point of new life and hard work. Consumption is important for assisting poverty-stricken areas to consolidate their outcomes in poverty alleviation and promoting long-term development of these areas. This arouses great concern of Capinfo’s Party Committee. Capinfo is willing to perform its political, economic and social responsibilities as a state-owned enterprise, which demonstrates its image of being “political, accountable and credible”. It strengthened its communications about work with Beijing Shounong Consumption-based Poverty Alleviation, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center, further discussed mutual cooperation on poverty alleviation and jointly promoted mutual development.
As sales director of Shounong Consumption-based Poverty Alleviation, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center, Mr. Zhang Yang reported that the center was an innovation and entrepreneurship platform committed to supporting consumption and rural revitalization, which widely mobilized social forces to participate in poverty alleviation by consumption to increase poor families’ income for poverty alleviation, benefit upstream/downstream enterprises, provide consumers with substantial benefits and create reciprocal benefits and win-win situation for multiple parties. The center expected to develop close cooperation with Capinfo, and build more platforms together with Capinfo to support poverty-stricken areas’ consolidation of their outcomes in poverty alleviation.
Subsequently, both parties had informal discussions about the work in their respective fields. They reached a consensus with each other with respect to organizing the “Trade Union’s Day”, making innovations of new support models, promoting further development in consumption-based poverty alleviation, and making specific arrangements for different jobs. In the future, Capinfo will promote all jobs up to higher standards and with more practical actions more passionately, to make contributions to economic and social development as a state-owned enterprise.
